How can I become friends with her again?

I was friends with a girl last year, but different rumors that went around ended our friendship. We don't even say hi to each other anymore. I really want to become friends with her again, but I don't know how to. I'm afraid she wont accept me because she thinks I started the rumors that ended our friendship while I really didn't. What should I say/do?How can I become friends with her again?
maybe just start gradually smiling at her.....then maybe waving and saying hi in the halls.....once you're comfortable with that (and she's friendly back) maybe start having small conversations with her-just keep working up and when you two feel comfortable you can try to explain, maybe you could invite her over or at least get her alone

I would say exactly what you just said right there. Do not text her because that seems inpersonal. Call her. She will respect that you have the guts to speak to her. If you are bold enough, I would go up to her in person. If you let her know that you are afraid she wont accpet you and tell her that you are sorry about the rumors (add that you did not start them) I am sure she will want to be friends with you again. If you were really good friends, then she'll understand if you approach and explain. If that doesn't work, then YOU say hi to her, and YOU walk up to her and talk to her. Just become friends with her all over again. : ) hope i helped : )
