Try being sarcastically cute with her.
It will work if she thinks you are cute (visually, I mean).
Once you are friends you can have her accompany you and your buddies (and other girls) to movies, football games, etc...
Give it time. Rushing only makes things awkward.

If you like her, then tell her, there is a chance if you do become friends that will be all she ever thinks of you.
I think you need to have more faith in your father, in that anything that happens with you guys wont affect his friendship with others.
I don't see why it would jeopardize your dad's friendship... but to become someone's friend, just talk to them!! Ask her what she likes, what music she likes, places she wants to travel in the world, what she wants to do with her life, where she wants to live... you might have more in common than you thought -- start a conversation and then ask her if you could call her later because she's a really cool person to talk to and you want to be her friend... just be honest with her. She'll probably think it's kick ***.

I think you two people should have some dates (say 4-5) just talking and communicating - no kisses! Then, state your priorities and if they are common, move to the next step. Do not have anything with her if you are not interested in a monogamous relationship - and if you do not find out that she wants the same. Otherwise, it could be a bit tricky. If your father is not the austere type, talk to him about this.
