ok so there is this girl that i kinda like but we are both really shy.....so i tried to add her on facebook but she didnt accept me, so i dont know what to do now. i was just gonna build up a friendship on facebook b4 we hang out in person and then maybe go farther. my friend said i should just send her a message saying i want to get to know her but i dont want to seem creepy or anything, but i have nothing to loose so what should i do?How to become friends with a girl?
ok so dont send her a message cuz that will creep her out for sure,

talk to her ,ask her for things lik a pencil.

Then just talk to her in the hallway.

build up the friendship in person.

All these answers are from every ones- personal view on this. just because she doesn't accept you as a friend on face book doesn't mean she doesn't like you or have any interest in you, but maybe its just that she doesn't know you, maybe she already has a boyfriend or guy friend- I would try in person first. or be straight forward like you said you have nothing to loose.

if you see her in person at least once, get up, gather your guts together and go and say hi in person to her. overcome your shyness and get to know her more than just messages over facebook. people are more relaxed sending messages to people because they're not in front of them.

eventually you will have to gather some courage and talk to a girl you like sometime. so this time, if you see her give her a wave or a nice friendly greeting. if she notices you, she'll give you a nice smile or a hi. don't be afraid, you can do it. don't worry about being awkward, it's just a nice ';hello'; :)

if she didn't friend you on facebook, then she probably doesn't want to have anything to do with you. But if you are determined then just try and make an effort to talk to her more, be charming. Also try and create an inside joke. That ALWAYS helps.
