How to Become Friends with this Girl?

I sorta like my friend that I known for a couple of months now though I only feel like were barely friends. We talk only through occasional text messages which I send to her and when I try to talk to her on AIM she doesn't even carry a conversation. What can I do to try to improve our relationship as friends. I want to pretty much be her ';go to guy';. I know it sounds cheesy but yeah, so any advice would be appreciated. You need to start seeing her and hanging out with her more often. Bring friends along so it won't be ackward.
Don't be shy and talk to her more oftenn instead of occasionally';
if your a guy then try being a little distant and see what happens; I remember this kid used to IM me all the time during the summer and once he stopped around october/november I was like what happened? so I started IMing him and carrying the conversation.



You could also let her talk about herself or whatever- we usually like to do that :), but obviously you can put an input into it too. Just (at first at least) say what she wants to hear.



And if you want to hang out with her and stuff, go see a movie or go to the mall or even have a small, managabley sized party- like an early new year's party or whatever.

When it comes to building friendship, you may want to talk to her about 2-3 times a week because you don't want her to think that you are annoying or scare her off. Just plain casual, you may want to talk to face to face and that way, she will mostly likely to carry the converstation in AIM.



Be friendly, have a great sense of humour (girls love it), and if you do all of that, your friendship as a seed will continue to grow up a strong tree.
Your a guy so your real goal is to be her boyfriend. But the first step is to be the friend in your opinion. So try to be charming or something. If that doesnt work try to make her pity you. Most girls will never ignore you if they feel sorry for u. Trust me Ive done this. Then shell carry the conversation. After that buddy your all on your own. Well what you can do is talk to her more often in person. Texting and AIM is a good way to talk but nothing beats a good face-to-face conversation. If you do get through, you should ask if you'd like to continue this conversation after school (if you go to school). Walk her home or something. Have some inside jokes because then she will feel that you guys can talk about anything. This is what I did with the girl that I like and I'm currently with her.
Try to talk to her in person or just find any random thing to talk about.

And hang out with her more often.

when i talk to the guy i like and the conversation gets a little dull i ask him how his weekend was. ofcorse only use this on a monday..

and usually when you talk about their weekend you also start talking about what they like to do and stuff you know? so you can get to know her better
