Well people yesterday I met this girl at my guitar class.. She was pretty awesome but unfortunately we only talked for like a five minutes.. Later I found out that we also have similar music taste cause I noticed she left copies of Nevermind and American idiot at my guitar teachers table. By the looks of it this girl is perfect and I can use all the suggestions you people can give so I can become a better friend with her or maybe even take her on a date.How to become friends with this girl?

I would just feel the situation out. If she feels like she is into to you maybe ask her if she'd like to get together outside of class. Maybe practice your music or whatever, if you like the same music I am sure it would be cool. Get her number and set something up!
Humor her. Girls love that. Be funny but don't be obnoxious. Make her laugh and you'll win her trust. Then talk to her whether it be in person or text or online. Keep it up but beware of the Friend Zone. After that, ask her out.

well what i think the thing is, is to talk to her more, and talk about what you like and dislike when it comes to music and try find out what she likes and in that way you's can get to know each other better..

Next time you see her just talk with her. You really do not have enough information to declare that she is perfect for you. She might already have a boyfriend, she might not be interested in you or anybody else, she might just want to concentrate on playing the guitar, she might have horrible habits that will repel you. Don't jump the gun, just get to know her better. Talking about music is a beginning; you might discover other shared interests, which may begin a friendship.
Just continue to talk to her. Take it slow. When the time is right you will know. Then you just ask her if you can take her out to dinner or something or to a concert. That is something that you would like to do obviously.
