How do I become friends with the girl I like?

I liked her since the beginning of 10th grade and I had her p.e. class for about 3 weeks until I transferred out. We only spoken once but I didn't think the conversation made her notice me. Shes the smart, nerdy, shy type w/ glasses like me. I sent her flowers,a teddy bear, and a letter for Valentines Day but she doesn't know its from me because I put it as anonymous.



It's 11th year now but I don't have any classes with her and I don't know any of her friends, I really want to ask her out to prom this year but I need to become friends with her first.



So how do you become friends with a girl who doesn't you that you have had strong feelings for but had been patient about it?How do I become friends with the girl I like?

tell her EXACTLY how you feel about her. tell her you were the valentines day anonymous. tell her how long you have had these feelings. ask her for her friendship...then...ask her to the prom.

Talk to her but have a short conversation not long bu you know but tell her everything about you that's important and how you feel about her in a relationship type a way.
talking to her is the only way you will draw attention,so she'll actually notice you, but maybe you feel awkward talking to her because you don't know what say, but really it's actually very simple, because you just need to start on a conversation for example ';hey, did you think the test was hard/easy'; or '; so, what are you doing this weekend'; just start with one of those questions and the conversation will continue from there, if you do that she'll get the impression that ur interested in her.
