Don't worry you have a good start with her so far. It doesn't matter how long you've tell her the jokes if she keep responding that mean you have Some chance of her liking you. If you went her to take you more seriously then let her talk more BUT don't be too Quite tho, because she might think you don;t went to talk to her. If she start to jokes then change the subject a little by little you'll be fine.

well, start by making small talk instead of just making jokes. ask her about things-like her favorite movies,television shows, books, or bands-thats a start-you just have to find something you both like to talk about-once you find that, it shouldnt be a problem.
