How can i become friends with this girl again?!?

So, i've been friends with this really amazing girl for a long time now. But she has a boyfriend so i don't want to go out with her(anymore). But a few weeks ago when i did want to go out with her i said some stuff and we got in a bit of a fight about some stuff(verbal). Well now i just want to be her best friend again, but she's really mad at me now! And i can see why too, but i just want to know what i should do, cause im really lost now.. So, does anyone know what i can do to get back on her good side and become her friend again?How can i become friends with this girl again?!?
I have only got three words to say:

tell her how you feel about the whole situation and she should understand.How can i become friends with this girl again?!?
Then probably saying just ';sorry'; isn't going to work anymore. She probably wants to actually see a change %26amp;you should show her that you've changed. Don't just tell her how sorry you are, prove it to her.

Try to say sorry, i know it's hard sometimes. talk to her, ask her how she feels, (sometimes you can suprise her and give presents ).

friendship is a 2 way street. if you love this girl more than a friend, it will be impossible to be her friend. if she doesnt want to be your friend there is nothing you can do but give it time
