How to become friends with a girl?

I am a very shy guy and really like this girl in my school but does not know i like her. I would like to know the best way to get her to like me or be friends with me. Any ideas?How to become friends with a girl?
well...im'a girl and ive been thorugh this pleny times, ive gottan asked out lke 8 times but im to young so i turned em all down. (im 14 in 1/2) So if you really like her than you should just say to her, hi and then if she says hi back start a conversation keep it moveing but don't say anything stupid like your shoes look nice, just say something like i heard you got a b or a A on your report card or something about school and if its a good thing say ';CONGRATZ!' And if your to shy to say something have your DEEPEST friends ask her out for ya. so if your friends are DEEPEST they wont say andything stupid to her. Glad i could help! (if i did)

just go for it. Put your shyness aside and try to find something in common. ask her questions like about something she likes or make comments about your teachers. just do this to start the conversation and try to get to know her
